Meet Christina
Christina brings a different – and equally essential – perspective. Her background spans banking, customer service, and the hotel and travel industry. She knows what it means to serve people well, and she knows travel from the inside: the logistics, the friction points, and the small details that can turn a stressful journey into a smooth one.
Her instinct for the customer experience has shaped everything from how we design our products to how we talk about them.
Meet Halvor
Halvor spent years in the cockpit as an airline pilot, logging thousands of hours above the clouds. Before that, he was trained as an engineer – so whether he’s thinking about aerodynamics at 35,000 feet or the mechanics of a folding product, the instinct is always the same: how can this work better?
That combination of engineering rigour and real-world aviation experience turned out to be exactly the right foundation for designing products that actually hold up to the wear and tear of family travel.
Parents First
Above all, we are parents who love to travel. We know the joy of showing your children the world – and we know the chaos that comes with it. The overstuffed bags, the restless kids on long-haul flights, the endless juggling act of keeping everyone comfortable and happy while moving through airports and cabins.
That lived experience is not just background – it’s the brief for every product we create.
JetKids and the BedBox
In 2009, we turned our frustrations around family travel into an idea. And this idea later turned into an actual company and a product. In 2015 we founded JetKids and launched the product we wished had existed when our youngest daughter was small. The result was the BedBox – a ride-on suitcase that unfolds into a flight bed, letting children sleep comfortably in their seat on long-haul flights.
The BedBox found its way into the hands of families all over the world. It became one of those rare products that genuinely changes how people travel. Eventually, the brand was acquired by Stokke – a recognition of what JetKids had built, and a new chapter for the product we were so proud of.
And Now, Todmo®
We couldn’t stop. Once you’ve spent years thinking about how to make travel better for families, it’s hard to look at the world any other way. There are still problems worth solving, still gaps in what exists for parents on the move.
That’s why we started Todmo®. We’re working on new products – things we genuinely believe families will love, and that will make getting around and from A to B a little less stressful and a little more enjoyable.
We’re not ready to reveal everything just yet. But we’re excited – and we think you will be too.
